Practical PMP Training Objectives

Course Objective

Mosaic's PMP exam preparation is focused on achieving a first time pass. The examination for PMI's PMP credential covers a defined knowledge base, not just the PMBOK Guide (although this is the basis of the qualification / exam). Our PMP exam prep courses cover the full spectrum of learning needed to succeed in the exam based on the PMP Role Delineation Study and 'Exam Specification'. The key difference between our Classroom courses, Blended course and Mentored Email (distance) course is the method of delivery and the way we engage with you as a trainee, not the course content.

Learning Outcomes

Students will acquire the necessary knowledge and understanding required to successfully pass their CAPM examination.

Mosaic's courses are specifically designed to equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to pass a difficult, multi-choice examination, most people also acquire significant useful project management knowledge to apply in the workplace. The course framework is based on the PMBOK Guide.

Key Deliverables

The course will:

• Assist experienced project personnel to achieve PMI accreditation.
• Assist with obtaining PMI membership.
• Assist with registering to take the PMI examination.
• Assist with assessing and completing the experience section of the examination application.
• Provide the required hours of accredited project management training to apply for the examination.
• Provide a framework of information by way of references and proprietary materials to allow trainees to acquire the PMI specific knowledge required to pass the examination.
• Provide a structured framework to test trainees’ knowledge on a progressive (weekly) basis against CAPM examination standards - you will answer hundreds of exam style questions!
• Provide an examination specific focus to the training (ie how to pass the examination the PMI way!!).
• Provide one-on-one feedback regarding performance in each knowledge area to allow trainees to focus on areas requiring improvement.
• Provide on-going support through to the examination.
